Ultrasound in IBD - Timely Action...!
Dear Participants,
Chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis have a significant impact on the lives of those affected and require long-term treatment and support. In modern diagnostics and therapy, the use of ultrasound has become an effective tool for monitoring disease activity in IBD patients. In particular, the non-invasive nature of the method make ultrasound an important tool for tight monitoring and fast decision making.
In which situations can we benefit from ultrasound the most? How does it facilitate timely action in intestinal diseases such as IBD with and without complications, intestinal lymphoma or carcinoma as well as injuries? Dr. Michael Höpfner from Agaplesion Diakonie Kliniken Kassel, Germany, and Dr. Johanna Vogelpohl from ADK-Kliniken Blaubeuren, Germany, will address this and much more during the upcoming SGG-accredited E-Learning.
We are looking forward to your participation.
Kind regards,
The organization committee
